At first, the sound of a dazed and incoherent Jungeun made you chuckle. Knowing that she had a lot to celebrate, being that they had just received their first win with ‘So What’. But your amusement promptly turned into concern, as her disjointed words turned into an unmistakable, “I need you.” You clumsily rush to put on your shoes, rushing out the door as you asked her where she was.

When you arrived, you helped her walk to the car, placing her wobbling form delicately in the passenger's seat. The ride home was quiet except for a few murmurs that escaped her lips every once and a while. With the window open and the crisp cool air kissed her face, seeming to pacify the once drunk Jungeun. It seemed as though she was gradually falling asleep, but suddenly she grasped your hand. You look over, taking in her drooping form. Half lidded eyes, gazed back at you, seemingly speaking unspoken words. Her lips parted ever so slightly, as she whispered, “Y/n. I think… I think I’m in love with you.”

Speechless, you only stared back at her, looking to see if she was saying it in just a friendly way. It was then when she leaned over, placing a kiss to your lips. The kiss was airy, almost as if the wind had fanned across your face. Your eyes remained wide open, overwhelmed by the many racing emotions. She chuckled, admiring the perplexed look upon your face. Sitting back in her seat, she chortled, “I have loved you for a while now. And I think you know that.”

She trailed off, sticking her hand out the window.

you woke up to find the spot beside you empty, your hands wandering around in hopes of finding your girlfriend still curled up next to you. which didn't happen.

groaning in annoyance, you sat up, yawning and rubbing your eyes, trying to open them up properly, even if the bright light coming from outside the window didn't make it so easy.

finally finding the courage to leave the cozy bed you shared with jungeun the night before, you headed downstairs, hoping your girlfriend didn't leave already for practice.

you smiled in relief when you noticed her still half asleep figure leaning against the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee in her hands, and you soon jumped in her direction.

"oh good morning" she mumbled in a raspy voice, due to being awake for only a few minutes, wrapping one of her arms around your waist while you placed your head on her chest.

she left a quick kiss on your forehead before asking if you wanted her to prepare something for you for breakfast.

"there is something I would like, actually..." you whispered, voice slowly fading as you continued, looking around and rocking back and forth on your heels, hands now behind your back feigning innocence.

"and what would that be?" she curiously asked with a smirk, her mug now long forgotten as her attention shifted completely to you and the way you were biting your bottom lip.

"something like..." you purred, getting close to her and being now a few centimetres away from her face, "...like this" you finished, now brushing your lips against hers.

you let out a chuckle at the way her right hand was impatiently gripping your side, waiting for you to close the distance between the two of you. hearing you giggle made her snort and harshly pull you flush against her body, pressing your lips together.

"you are so annoying" she murmured pulling away for just one second, before she was all over you once again.

you hands were tangled in her long hair, making her hiss every time you pulled it ever so slightly.

she moved her cold fingertips underneath your shirt to feel your soft skin, making you tilt your head backwards when she gently scraped her nails on your tummy.

taking the opportunity to attack your neck, she started kissing it softly and then nibbling certain spots that she knew would have you rolling your eyes to the back of your head, chuckling proudly when she could feel your grip on her hair becoming tighter and a satisfied moan leave your slightly open mouth.

"shut up" you managed to say before taking her face in your hands and reconnecting your lips together, licking her bottom lip and softly sliding your tongue in her mouth.

that however didn't last long before she gently pushed you away, with her arms still around your body and yours around her neck.

"we should probably brush our teeth first"
