“Snap out of it!” Jigen hissed, smacking @thievinggentleman‘s face in hopes of waking him up. 

The guy had been screwed over by that two-timing bitch... Again. Not that that came as a surprise to anyone, but Lupin never learned. Of course, his decision to side with the broad meant discarding his partners in such a way, that Jigen swore off working with the guy ever again!

... Again. 

Almost an hour later, there Jigen was, disguised in an officer’s uniform while he tried to break the seemingly drugged-up thief out of a holding cell. He heard footsteps in the distance and a couple of voices over the radio at his waist.

“Lupin!” He shook him with a little more urgency.
