Imperfect cares beyond love

Tried out sketching Frankenstein's Monster exclusively with a coloured pencil while at work the other day. It's something I've been wanting to try, as I've seen a lot of artists recommend sketching with a colouring pencil instead of a regular graphite one.

I don't usually put filters on my art, but this one really brings out the lines so that they're easier to see (I drew them very lightly). The original is below cut.

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should ink over the lines and stick him in a sketchbook, draw over the lines with a darker pencil or just leave him as he is. I'm thinking I might finish him. Eventually.

Typically I managed to get an oil stain on the paper before he was finished, so now I have this ugly transparent mark right on his forehead. I edited it out of the filtered and unfiltered photos but now I'm wondering how I can get rid of it on the actual drawing.

I'm aware it looks nothing like the reference, but I don't mind this time because I was relaxing into loose sketching for once.
