• being close to paper it was only a matter of time before you met looseleaf
• the contrast was easy to see, and you could understand why the others were weary of them but still that wouldn't stop you from befriending the rougher version of your friend
• having paper's favor is key in getting on looseleaf's good side after all their whole purpose is keeping paper safe so if you've got an issue with paper don't even bother trying to talk to them
• looseleaf started off just as abrasive towards you as they were with anyone else but the longer you stayed around them they stopped seeing you as a threat
• looseleaf mostly just stayed around you when not provoked due to feeling more comfortable around you then anyone
• paper noticed the shift in their behavior first, the way they stopped snapping at you, the way their hand found yours when no one was looking and especially how they started talking about you to paper
• paper brought it up to you with barely contained excitement, he was both surprised and excited that looseleaf started becoming less hostile. Paper couldn't help but thank you for being so understanding with them
• of course it was no problem for you, you found the guy extremely fun to be around and despite their aggressive behavior you could tell they just wanted to protect paper
• when looseleaf asked you to be their partner you both were sitting on the couch at hoot and they just turned to you and asked point blank if you wanted to be their partner. After the shock wore off you of course said yes and they just nodded with a smile before turning back to the tv. Just now their shoulder was against yours
• paper was more emotional about you two dating then looseleaf was. He was just so happy that they now had someone else that they trusted besides himself
• looseleaf tries to not be so physically aggressive nowadays, especially with you helping them voice their anger and discomfort without throwing people
• they trust you to keep paper safe so they don't have to front in every mildly distressing situation (which In turn helps them be less on edge)
• they started fronting more regularly and not just is severe situations and actually interacting with the other people in hoot without just grumbling and walking away which in both you and paper's eyes is a massive improvement
• they like to hug you from behind and when you turn to face them they promptly sling you over their shoulder and carry you like a sack of rice
• their favorite part of you is probably your face, not necessarily just because of how it looks but also it's warmth and the way your eyes scan their features with such care
• please cuddle them, looseleaf loves being able to just relax into your touch without worrying about something happening while their guard is down
