Hello!! I hope your having a good day! ^^ I did have a Poppy Playtime request, if thats okay!
Is it okay to request a child reader who finds the letter meant for one of their parent/guardians who used to work at Playtime Co, maybe the parent had already left but never returned so the child decides they want to go explore the factory to find them? Like a young child around 5 to 6 years old, just the thought of a child packing a little bookbag with snacks, first aid kit, maybe even a emotional support plushie before leaving sounds so cuteeee.
How would the characters (like The Prototype, Doey, Dogday, Poppy, Huggy, Kissy, Mommy) react or how would they interact after seeing a tiny little kid happily going through the factory with little to no concept of danger? Like this little child wanting to make friends with every toy they see no matter what the toy looks like, or putting little band aids on injured toys, the grabpack being too big for them so their just shuffling around with it on trying to do the puzzles; etc.
Of course, you don't have to do every character if you dont want to!! Completely up to you!! I'm sorry if this is a lot, I hope anything I said makes sense, I dunno how to explain things properly :'D I hope you have a great day!! :D
TOYS X CHILD!READER!(PLATONIC)
A.N: okay lets just pretend this child has more plot armor than the player and all the toys have a weakness for little children because I want them too and it'll be sweet <3 , also I apologize but I couldn't figure out anything for the prototype and kissy, I still hope you enjoy though!
-what's a amazing darling like you doing here looking for a yucky adult?
-oh well that doesn't matter anymore, because now you're her baby! (she kidnaps you out of maternal instinct)
-if you complain or cry about missing your parent, she'll get a little gloomy and upset, she doesn't want you to cry, but she also doesn't want you to be around one of those stinky grown ups, plus it was a lost cost, this factory will chew them up and spit them out..
-will try to play games with you to keep you distracted, both the ones in game station and just a few fun ones with her, she tries to keep you away from the train, she doesn't want you going deeper into the factory, out of fear HE will find you...
-there's a surprising amount of full vending machines and unopen snacks still laying around, and some spare change, may try to order a pizza for you on one of the front desk phones out of desperation if food runs low, and say " I hope you're happy dear, mommy almost had a heart attack trying to order this! Eat up " half playfully but also kinda bitter
-she is overprotective AS HELL, she already threatened bunzo and the mini wuggies that if they claw one claw on you they'd be dead, but if anyone like huggy or another bigger body did oh ho I hope they were prepared to deal with a angry aggressive mother, so to avoid you any harm she puts you on her back a lot, lets you climb on her arms and legs like a jungle gym, she enjoys playing with you, she just makes sure you won't fall
-if she HAS to go, she'll leave you with pj, she isn't too found of him but the pug a piller is surprisingly smart, smart enough to know not to mess with you, plus statues is a perfect place for a young child like you, a foam pit, slides, monkey bars, and a giant fluffy friend!
-overall, if you don't mind being adopted by the spider, shes a pretty good guardian! Maybe a little possessive and childish at times, but she cares, always makes sure you have your little plushie close by

-a dream, a trick, SOMETHING
-there's no way a six year old survived huggy and everything in this factory long enough to open her case
-the realization honestly terrified her
-oh nonon...you shouldn't be here! You were in grave danger
-so, instead of on the train, making you go deeper in the factory, she wants to get you out, she may be desperate, but dragging someone so young into this is wrong and cruel
-he crashes the train...she was relived when she saw you survived, but horrified knowing you were trapped in this factory...
-She wants kissy and her to be by their side most of the time, you're more of a helper when it comes to puzzles, poppy fears if she looks away for a second, you'll be smashed into the ground by a bigger toy, and she isn't wrong for fearing that, you are very oblivious
-she doesn't tell you exactly what happened during the hour of joy, or shows you the tape, she just very gently says that a few years ago, something really bad happened, that made the toys very angry, so they had to close the company, a more simplified and less gruesome story
-she also starts...rethinking her blow up the factory idea...shes grown very attached to you, treating you like her little sibling often, and she doesn't want anything to hurt you, so maybe she will listen to doey, find another way...
-if poppy has to go do something with kissy, shes 100% leaving you in the safe haven, she trusts doey to take care of a young kid and the critters there seem to enjoy your company, plus it has food and water, maybe you can take a nap in one of the tents while kissy missy is beating the doctors ass <3
-she likes to sit down and play with you time to time, not often but she tries, she almost forgets shes only a kid in all of this too and should try to actually be one time to time when it doesn't feel like everything is a burden on her shoulders, maybe she finds a deck of cards or a coloring book to color with you, she tries to make down time count
-is the first thing that comes to mind when dogday sees you, the second is " HOW IN GODS GREEN EARTH DID A CHILD GET HERE "
-and especially how did they get far enough to see him??
-oh he feels so bad someone so young has to see his dangling weak corpse like this, he prays he didn't spook you too badly
-he used the last bit of his energy to flop down on the floor and crawl with you following close behind before any critters get to you, with how many there were, they could jump you in seconds
-if he sees any critters coming, her swats at them with his hands, which is usually enough to scare off one or two, if more, he scoops you onto his back and books it
-he gives grandfather/old dog vibes to me, so if its a peaceful moment he acts very calm and tired, maybe a bit playful in his teases and of course positive, but After so many years in this factory, its definitely worn him down
-he does try to play with you still, playing tag and fetch, maybe hide and seek in a safe place, but his favorite thing to do is relaxing with you laying in his fur, sometimes you fall asleep on him and its adorable, all cozy and curled up like a little pup!
-is honestly scared to death that if you see catnap you'd just think he's a big kitty and play with his tail, you could get swatted into a wall or effected by the red smoke so easily! You're so small, dogday gets worried about this often
-will try to keep you safe either in home sweet home or the school (post ms delight), it has some food and water and a few cozy spots, plus books and actually things for education
-speaking of education, he will actually TRY to teach you some basic things, reading, spelling, abcs, dogday knows how important those things are for development, it will be tricky, but hew determined
-if you mention that you miss your parents, his heart will ache, it's terrible, he hates seeing you so sad, and he hates to think about what most likely happened to your guardian, but he tells you to try to stay positive, your mommy or daddy are probably somewhere in this factory looking for you! (he hopes-)
-if you entrusted him of checking the dark corners for any monsters or protecting your plushie in the dark, he treats it very seriously, he will protect you and teddy with his life <3
-lets just say, he's more than surprised when he sees poppy with a child so deep in the factory-
-closer to flabbergasted actually, it's already a shock seeing poppy after so long but you?! Oh dear-
-kevin tries SO HARD not to lash out at poppy in that moment out of surprise
-after seeing that she feels bad about wrapping you into this and wants to help bet you out instead of blowing up the factory, he softens up, deciding to not hold grudges against the doll and keep you safe
-doey doesn't leave the safe haven often, sure hes the one scouting for food and leading bigger body toys away, but that's only when he needs to, if he can, he much rather be in the safe haven repairing things and keeping all the little toys company, so he's glad to keep a eye on you!
-the little toys of the safe haven enjoy you too, when you first saw them, you shared some of your food in your bag! So you're they're friend now, and they would love to return the favor
-doey thinks you're a sweet little kid, Matthew is the most protective by default, making sure your needs are met and you're happy while also keeping you out of danger, he usually holds you in one hand while doing something in the other, lets you wear his hat, and blobs down a bit of clay for you to play with when bored
-kevin is a bit awkward around you, he was never really good with other kids, especially younger kids, but he does find you funny, stupid little baby who doesn't know that death is looming, of course he does get worried too, he likes to tease you about how clueless you are time to time but if you're ever in danger, kevin is quick to beat whatever is trying to kill you's ass
-jack is the closet one to your age, being around two or three years older than you, he likes to try to act like a cool older brother? Any monsters around? He'll save you! You got a booboo? He'll put a mascot bandaid on it to make it feel better, do you prefer kissy missy or huggy wuggy bandaids? Oh he'll figure it out, would definitely LOVE playing with you! Maybe he can show you his favorite games! And you both can help the friends at the safe haven together!
-doey all together would get very...Sad, when you express worries about your parents, he knows how it feels to miss a parent, really, so he makes sure to tell you, no matter what happens, you'll be okay, he'll make sure of it...
