Bringing in the New Year with a bit of letting go

I ended last year with an abrupt move to Texas. What was supposed to be big step towards independence with those I considered close friends turned into a very stressful failure. When it all hit the fan I was left with the hard decision to let the dream go. I know that my friends did not appreciate me giving up on the dream, but when your living in a motel that my relatives have paid for and do not have the funds to keep living there I feel its time to except reality. I feel now that some of my friends wish to forget me because I have not heard from any of them since I have left them. No Happy New Year or even a did you get there safe. I don't know about you but I feel that true friends no matter how mad or upset they are at a situation like this would still at least ask how you are or find out that you got to your destination ok. Although, yes you can just as easily look to facebook and see that I have changed my status so obviously I have made it here ok, but still. I am left thinking that I have lost my friends and those I have grown a strong attachment too. I guess in this new year I will have to let these people go. I am so quick to cut ties and give up I just don't want to do anything too quickly. At the same time it makes me angry not knowing what they think and I'm afraid to make a call. Guess I could message you on Skype but it seems that you have blocked me so...I suspect we will not talk again so let me take the time to say, I hope that life is kind to you and you reach all your goals. I pray that God is with you and guides you to where you need to go. Good by my friend. It's been real
