10 Facts About Lorcan Lavellan

I was tagged by @solas-you-nerd like FOREVER AGO to post 10 facts about an OC and y’all KNOW I am always going to go with my little noodle mage! 

1: Loves to climb trees. It’s a problem. Mainly because Dorian and Cassandra have heart attacks when they look up to see him jumping around the branches. 2: Frequently challenges The Iron Bull to drinking contests. Has never won even one time. 

3: Has a quiet spot on the roof near the gardens, that is only accessible by scrambling over the broken ramparts. 4: Gets cold very easily, but refuses to wear shoes.

5: Was married for 10 years before darkspawn killed his husband during the blight. 6: Is usually awake before sunrise. (Much to Dorian’s horror.) 7: Cannot carry a tune to save his life (he still tries), but can drum fairly decently.

8: Loves the rain and mud. His clan was in Northern Ferelden until the blight, and he likes being back.

9: Pretty terrible at manual labor.

10: He was the healer, alchemist, and midwife as part of his duties as First for Clan Lavellan. I tag any of y’all who want to do this because I forgot who did it already and who did not.

Solas:1) Did your Inquisitor engage Solas academically with questions or were they uninterested in his experiences?Lorcan tried to. He wanted to learn, but he often argued back with Dalish beliefs, and when Solas disregarded them, he was hurt and stopped trying to discuss things with him. 2) Did they agree with his opinions about spirits, that they were friends and trustworthy? If not, what did your inquisitor believe instead?Lorcan wanted to believe. He liked the idea of that better than believing they were all demons, and seeing the spirit out on the Exalted Plains finally convinced him that there was something to what Solas had been saying. Sera:1) What did your Inquisitor think about the Red Jenny organization? Did they choose to be apart of it?Lorcan thingks the Red Jennies are brilliant. He really supports them and what they stand for. He never joined in, himself. He is a very passive person and never went beyond offering what support he could from the outside. 2) Did your Inquisitor see Sera as troublesome or simply fun-loving? Did they join in for her pranks?Sera and Lorcan did not get along. Mostly due to her treatment of his beliefs. He didn’t see her as harmful or troublesome, and still occasionally had fun with her. They more agreed to disagree and acted as family members rather than close friends. Her sense of humor and casual attitude were actually his favorite things about her. They did grow closer in later years, mostly upon her insistence. She wanted to make sure he knew he was family to her, and not let him slip away again.
