i was not very impressed by jace's negotiation skills in his scene with cregan but he made up for it with the freys in how he postures against them- he reminds them of the fact that vermax is right at their door as a threat, drains his cup specifically to force lady frey into the deferential position of refilling it for him, and physically stands in order to loom above them as he closes out. the boy is learningggg

Anyway! This edition of the lord comes with medieval-ified clothing! Reminiscent of something a nobleman would actually wear. His victorian-inspired garb was bothering me incessantly.

Plus he has shoes now, which seems like a staple to the folks in Robin Hood
