For the NPC asks, what about Lord Grathan? What's his canon fate in the Halcyon legacy and is anything different to the in game versions or do they line up pretty neatly? I'm very curious! :'D
Ask Me About SWTOR NPCs Thank you for the ask, @itstheelvenjedi !
So as you're well aware, Grathan's fate is decided by the Sith Warrior. In the Halcyon Legacy, that means Kael Nosrol Krannus.
Kael is… not a nice guy. Frankly, he's a nasty little Vitiate-worshiping edge-lord.
But - He was annoyed with Baras when all this went down. And Cellvanta did make a good pitch.
So he killed Grathan. (He also boinked Cellvanta afterwards, but that hardly matters.)
For awhile, Cellvanta's plan of having Beelzlit impersonate his father went well enough.
But there were reasons why the Imperial military had held off crushing Grathan's estate. Baras, just to name one.
By the end of the class stories, the situation has completely changed.
People on Dromund Kaas are going a bit bloodthirsty after the Republic's attack. A rogue Sith Lord in their backyard is no longer tolerated. Certainly not after Malgus' attempted coupe.
So the hammer finally comes down.
I actually talk about this a little in "Profitable". Cellvanta was working on an escape plan, but it went south. Neither she nor her son survived the attack.
(She actually chooses to take her own life, and that of her son. She knows how badly it will go if they get captured. I was watching a lot of documentaries on the Romans when i wrote that bit.)
Thanks for the ask!
"Lord Grathan's gone insane with his experiments...droids, weapons, and ergonomic chairs" -Some Imperial dude
And amazing quotes like these are just one of the reasons The Old Republic is kinda freaking fantastic
