Adrien and Marinette: *are dating*
Gabriel: What kind of cold, heartless monster would break apart such a loving relationship?
Gabriel: ~I WOULD~

my new (apparently piping hot) take: killing someone doesn't suddenly become NOT killing them if they're revived, it just means that the killing didn't stick. regardless of whether she got better, Steven did in fact kill a person, and people who think he didn't are either A) so consequentialist that I, someone within throwing range of utilitarianism, openly mock them, or B) are too caught up with stanning their diamond-eyed chad to care. if you steal something but give it back you still stole it
Unironically, yeah. Killing someone is still killing. It’s a big deal and should be treated as such. Revival doesn’t matter. If I punch you in the face and instantly heal it, did it not hurt when I hit you? If I dangle you off the edge of the cliff, threatening to let go, does the fact that I set you back down on the ground, unharmed, mean that I have done nothing wrong?
How bad killing is when you can revive them is definitely a hard thing to navigate. It’s definitely not as bad as killing someone and not reviving them (unless you’re in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I suppose), but the horribleness of the action definitely varies based on all the consequences. And, of course, you can always run into the comic book problem that if you make your death so meaningless nobody is gonna care when your characters die.
but, like, in a shitposty way, what if i steal from you and it turns out that you think stealing is super sexy and then i give it back and nothing’s wrong and also you want to date me now because I’ve done something so sexy? Is it wrong then? Or is it just really cool that we’ve went on this journey together?
Adrien: I’ve never been in a snowball fight.
Marinette: Really!?!
Adrien: I don’t even know the rules. Is there like a point system, or is it to the death?

Marinette: Chat Noir is really bad at this whole flirting thing. One time, he gave me a bouquet of poison ivy.
Marinette: He picked it himself.

you want fandom drama? you want my hot takes? here goes: the only canon episode from SUF is A Very Special Episode, as it would be funnier if the canonically non-canon episode was the only one good enough to be canon. (in dreams would be canon too, but it's just on an entire different plane of quality existance)
is this not true? are we not in the timeline where Onion plays a flute and commits genocide on the gem race?
fire up the despair machine, homura. we’ve got to go back again.
is Mentally Fat the new Smooth Brain or something? "Hahaha, unlike you mentally thin wrinklebrains, my pink mass is FAT and SMOOTH"
i sure as fuck would like it to be.
Connie’s brain: muscular, stringy, unsuitable for consumption
Steven’s brain: fat, savory, melt in your mouth with a nice demiglaze
Chat Noir is the kind of person who, when faced with the great big electrical socket of the universe, does not hesitate to grab a fork.
