(Completely self serving ask sorry) Is there a fix that would make a 3 more inclined to introspection? Because if I'm being honest with myself I'm not self aware (not for lack of effort) but I try to always understand myself to the best of my ability to maintain some essence of non-douchebaggary and I read that most 3s will gloss over this entirely. Thanks dude!

Again: where did you read this, because that’s important. People say all kinds of stupid things on the internet, myself included.

That said, the core of this - that 3s can have issues with introspection - is true. It’s not out of being a douche, but because they’re so focused on being someone who impresses others that they have no idea what they personally want.

A 5 fix can lead to introspection to some extent, but that’s no guarantee. Similarly, a 4 wing can lead to an attempt to understand the self a little, but since 4 is also focused on outward identity it can just as easily get sucked into an identity that is both impressive AND unique, but still constructed, rather than any real introspection.

Ultimately, this is more a case of just...growing as a person and being aware of your faults than any specific fix.
