I really wish that Hans could just turn off his jerkiness for one moment so that he could at least try to repair the damage between him and Anna, but there’s so much pain and distrust in their history that he just… can’t. Besides, she’s with Kristoff now, so he doesn’t see any point in trying to win her back. Plus, there’s the whole issue of, well, the murder of his brothers, and Hans just knows that if Anna found out about that, she’d never forgive him—she might even try to keep Henrik from him. It’s just a terrible situation, caused by a very angry and broken man.
