-Marx can only giggle at the shocked expression and tone of Death. Leave it to him to surprise something so ancient as the grim reaper. The small jester’s wings shift and bend in front of him as he giggles, very much like a person would use their hands to giggle behind.
Though once the shock wore off Marx grins in excitement. Moving his wings away from his face to stare back at the reaper. It’s was a chilling sort of gaze, as to be expected, but no worse than staring into the void. The blue was pretty he could admit. The kind of blue some ghosts could be, at least Marx assumed ghosts could be blue. But after a moment or two the blue was gone and the reaper had his answer.
There was no surprise by two of the desires named, he knew those as they were very important goals to keep up with! To be bored was so awful! And attention is simply apart of his job....however the last desire made him tilt sideways. Family? Why would he want that? Especially after one had already failed him? That can’t be right...-
“Well green is a fine color I guess. But, but, but, family? I expected food to be that last one in all honesty! Huh. Guess it shows just how much you don’t know about me! Hehehe! I wonder...you do keep tabs on those who died, right? Like how does that work? There’s a lot of different ways people say how you keep track of those things!”
-Marx slowly rotates clockwise in the air as he speaks.-
“Also to to answer the question of who I am, I’m Marx! Marx the Cosmic jester! I make plenty of friends, but very few ever get to stay around~ Heeheehee! I’m a bit much you could say! And I don’t think you want to be similar to me, I’m a big friend to insanity~ Oh the pranks and hijinks I get in, hehehe, so much fun!
Oh I do have to ask, how do you feel about people who died, but come back to life? And I’m not talking about rebirth here. I’m talking someone who got hit by a train and was buried in the ground, but digs themselves out later because they miraculously weren’t dead anymore. Does that make your job harder, or no, or is it just ‘eh’?”
