are you mrstater? the mrstater who moderated metamorfic moon at LJ? Because if yes then my goodness! My first fanfic was transfigured heart and basically what got me into fandom (and R/T). Anyway, it's been a long time and I never had the courage to tell that you were one of my favourite hp fanfic authors. I don't know what to say other than I'm sooo happy that I found you of all people from LJ era (and bad english sorry) HAVE A NICE DAY!! <3<3<3

I am that mrstater! How sweet that you remember, even though it’s been so long since I was active in that fandom. There are quite a few of us from the old LJ, R/T fandom around here, actually: @bratanimus, @gloriousclio, @jadeddiva, @mediumsizedfountain (forgive me if I’m forgetting any of you, I’m pre-caffienated and blanking on tumblr urls). have you seen this antirepostercampaign(.)tumblr(.)com? it might not sherlock/martin-centric but i guess it's worth checking so you don't have to fight reposters alone :)

Thank you, yes I've seen it. There are a quite a few anti-reposting blogs out there. I'm not sure how effective it would be when people can't even glance at a watermark to see it matches a source, and tumblr have now made it harder by removing the source from immediate view.  So I just keep unfollowing people now so I don't have to look at it all the time, because it's honestly not that hard to spot the reposts and do a little checking. I mean, if someone you have never heard of before posts an amazing gif or something, alarm bells just go off in my mind. Usually 2 minutes later I have the original post via a reverse google image search. But I guess those 2 minutes and an ounce of brainwork are too much for some people.

Sorry, didn't mean to give a sermon. I'm not feeling well and coupled with my favourite tumblr subject, it makes for a grumpy post! Thank you for the info.
