Coming from Soo-won of all people, it was certainly a gesture that caught him off guard. He and the king got on well, of course, and they were prone to being rather laid back with each other from time to time. Despite that fact, though, Zeno hadn’t been expecting this openly playful gesture from the more mature between the two of them. 

『Ah, you caught Zeno by surprise, Ou-san!』

Then, with the same playfulness the king had just exhibited, Zeno brought his own ring of flowers from behind his back. The other had beaten him to the punch so it might not get as much of a reaction, but hey this made things just as fun. He mimicked the action of the king (though he had to stand on his toes to be able to reach) and placed the ring in his hands on top of the other’s head.

『Zeno also made one, it seems you beat him to the punch! Though perhaps something so childish doesn’t suit Ou-san as well.』

          “Have you ever considered telling your wife the truth?” Amethyst eyes looked up to the King with a seriousness that the young girl normally did not possess. Not yet at least, Hiryuu was aware that the girl studied hard to become equal to her husband and to be able to help him. Not that he would say a word to Soo-won. “I do not support the way King Il ruled my kingdom but be careful with what you are doing - no matter your belief, the heavens do have their eyes settled on this Kingdom.”

He could barely remember what it was that even prompted her to tickle him, but once the laughter died down and only left them with awkward proximity… he had a hard time even thinking straight. All that he knew was that he liked it, he liked being so near Yona, near her smile… and he wanted more of it. Yet, instead of meditating about it, he simply followed his desires and leaned in closer, feeling the heat radiating from her cheeks before pressing his lips against hers.

She laughed a little, still trying to catch her breath as she watched her husband with a fondness that she was not scared of hiding anymore. He knew what she felt for him - she had been honest from the first day of their marriage. Not that it changed much, she was sure even without loving him as much as she did, she would still try her best to cheer him up whenever she felt he was too caught up in his own thoughts - tickling was the best method until now ( and the most pleasant one, since Yona found herself quite drawn to his laughter ).

She was just about to stand up when he leaned in closer - close enough for the redhaired girl to blush in such a deep shade of red, it might actually make her hair look pale. “Soo-won…?” But before she could ask a question, he closed the distance and she could feel his lips on hers. It was nearly embarrassing how fast her body reacted while her mind could not comprehend at all what was going on. But while her thoughts raised around her head, Yona could feel how she wrapped her arms around her husband to pull him a little bit closer and how she melted into the kiss, closing her eyes as she decided that her thoughts could wait for a second and she was just going to enjoy the kiss and the warmth that came from it.

That was, until her lungs reminded her that she needed air to breath and she quickly pulled back, a deep blush on her cheeks guided by an embarrassed and slightly worried expression.

“So— Sorry… I… I didn’t mean to… I mean, I did mean to…” She stuttered before quickly finding herself kneeling on the bed, her forehead pressed against the bedsheets. “I mean, I absolutely meant to return the kiss but I am sorry if anything I did forced you into thinking you had to do this, I am sorry!”

This is probably going to say a lot about the type of person I am but I’m gonna have to say the issue where Shin-ah gets possessed by the old dragon spirit.

We got a lot of Yoon feels in that issue. He got paralyzed, STILL UPSET AT JAE-HA FOR PROTECTING KIJA BUT NOT MOM TBH, he got called little brother, he got pressured until he passed out, AND THEN THEY LEFT HIM THERE ALL ALONE, THEN HE’S CRYING INTO HIS KNEES but he also was mom and made lunch and onigiri. AND THEN HE GETS LEFT ALONE /AGAIN/ and uses his smarts to find everyone and is crying but still yells at everyone for leaving him alone and I just.

Mmm. So good. He’s always so sarcastic and sharp witted and confident that I really like moments that remind us that’s he only 15 and probably has really bad abandonment issues and fears of being alone and forgotten.

As an aside; I also really like Mundok giving him candy and ruffling his hair in that recent issue.....I also really like when they were in the water tribe and Yoon and Zeno go into that bar or w/e and he’s getting manhandled and Jae-ha does the big brother thing and is like “Can u not touch my mom with ur filthy hands?”

Most of the time when two people bump into each other on the street, they bounce apart slightly. This was not the case however when it came to Iksoo. He fell backwards, landing with a loud ‘slap’.
