10. Who’s the first person your oc goes to to talk about something that made them happy? Sad? Angry? 17. If your oc had a social media page, what would it be like? What would they post about? How much personal information would they feel comfortable posting on it? How often would they update it? 25. How does your oc handle sadness? for Jezari
10. Who’s the first person your oc goes to to talk about something that made them happy? Sad? Angry?
When she was partners with Savler, and, really, up until she had her own crew, Savler was her go to person pretty much 100% of the time. It’s not that Jezari doesn’t have other friends and acquaintances kicking around out there, but none of them are/were as close as Savler. Then the universe went “oooh, looks like the loner needs friends” and proceeded to dump crew members on her like some kind of shower of weirdos.
Granted, Savler is still person one, a lot of the time. They’ve been friends since they were kids. But now, if something makes her happy, her whole crew is probably going to hear about it first because they are right there. No holocall needed. (But if it’s an important enough happy thing, Savler’s going to get that holocall.) Sad? That depends, on a lot of things. Might be a holocall to Savler. Might be a reason to knock on Kyrian’s door (Force knows he’s shared enough vulnerabilities with her.), or Bowdaar’s. Maaaaybe Risha, if it lined up well enough with one of Risha’s own shared vulnerabilities. Angry? That’s going to be a holocall or a visit to Bowdaar’s cabin, or possibly Risha’s. (She knows Kyrian would be sympathetic, but she finds it incomprehensible that he isn’t incandescently angry about… oh, pretty much his entire life, so he is not her go-to person for things that piss her off. Unless she’s so pissed off, she’s just fuming about it to absolutely everyone she runs into.)
(Corso’s a nice kid, and probably an excellent person for someone to lean on. But that someone isn’t her.)
17. If your oc had a social media page, what would it be like? What would they post about? How much personal information would they feel comfortable posting on it? How often would they update it?
Space Instagram for the jewelry she makes out of bits of broken technology, linked to her Space Etsy, and utterly devoid of personal information. (Savler would certainly have made sure of that. As well as making sure no one could trace Jezari from any of it. And definitely no posting about space crimes on space social media!) She’s just this mysterious jewelry maker who posts pretty regularly. It is her downtime hobby, and time in hyperspace during jobs is pretty regular downtime.
(Left to her own devices, Jezari would probably not have been so careful, but she’s also not about to do anything that would lead to Savler having to pull a “you idiot!” jail break. At least not in regard to her hobby of jewelry making.)
25. How does your oc handle sadness?
That depends somewhat on the kind and degree of sadness. A little melancholy? Distract herself with tasks around the Luck that she’s been putting off or go to a local cantina with a good band. Maybe talk to a friend, if there’s anything to talk about. More drastically sad? Talk to/cry on friends.
🗡️ for Lysara
Ah, the small angry Sith sister.
(More about what the numbers mean here.)
Lysara
Raw power ★★★½
She’s a liiiittle more powerful than the average Sith, but not quite enough to count as exceptionally powerful. Of course, pinpointing her power level is complicated by the fact that she’s doing the same sort of power dance as her sister – be powerful enough that people don’t kill you, but not so powerful that people kill you.
Formal Training ★★? ★★★?
Training in using the Force for combat, or for hitting people with a lightsaber? Because her training in using the Force is pretty solid, but her training in lightsaber combat is more marginal. And she would 100% rather lightning you, anyway.
Combat experience ★★
Her combat experience almost entirely comes from her Sith training. Since then, she’s been more of a sapient shock stick for her master, meting out punishment to underlings who have failed her/the Empire.
Willingness to kill ★★★
That varies a bit depending on who she’s meant to be killing. She’s reluctant to kill slaves, fellow aliens, Republic citizens, and the like. Imperials, fellow Sith, assholes…that’s quite different. And she accepts that killing people is necessary to survive as a Sith in the Empire. Still, it’s something of a relief that her master generally doesn’t have people killed for messing up. However much she hates the Empire and Imperials, she has to admit that most of the people in it don’t deserve death. Copious amounts of Force Lightning, perhaps…
Previous victims ★ / ★★★
She hasn’t had to kill all that many people. She has, however, dispensed rather a lot of punishment.
So very, very in the wrong line of work. Which is why, in ficverse, he doesn't even make it all the way through the events of Agent chapter one. (His, ah, mistakes catch up to him between Nar Shaddaa/Tatooine and Alderaan.) That he makes it that long owes to a combination of inventiveness, clever report writing, and luck.
Though his potential as an agent, and other people's assumptions played a role as well.
Well, let me try the WIP roulette again. How about Code Breakers and Keeping A Schedule?
WIP Ask Game
Oh! Another "already answered" ! You're 3-for-4 ! 😂
Code Breakers was answered here.
Keeping A Schedule is a fun one. It's more unapologetic Corellan & Kira fluff from their honeymoon. The title refers the fact that Corellan is normally like clockwork about certain things, but that schedule has been thrown off from his various... activities with Kira.
To that end, Kira is now carefully giving him a shave with a knife.
While they sit in a hot spring au naturel. 🤭
(I'm so naughty.)
Thanks for playing, @lordviridis ! I won't complain if you spin again!
Care To Join Us? and The Problem With D&D for the WIP ask game
WIP Ask Game
Thanks, @lordviridis , but incredibly, I've answered both of these already!
Care To Join Us?
The Problem With D&D
People have asked about Care To Join Us? THREE TIMES NOW. I should include more question marks in my titles!

In the year since those events, the mood over the estate had subtly shifted and not for the better. The discovery that Dorotsech, one of the other top scientists, had apparently escaped from the compound meant that even greater scrutiny was placed on the prisoners. The indignities Ismar and the others had suffered infuriated her even more than anything she had been subjected to up to that point. Morale, such as it had ever been, had plummeted. A sense of fatalism had risen to take its place. Defections among Grathan’s followers – and escape attempts by his slaves – had climbed. Ismar had heard the rumors; some claimed that Lord Grathan had already fled, abandoning his followers and slaves to their fate. Others claimed he had been killed, and that his wife and son were conducting a mummer’s farce from behind a mask. Ismar thought that story absurd, but for whatever reason, there was a notable leadership gap in the compound she hadn’t felt before. Regardless of the cause, people could see the writing on the wall. Whatever protections that had discouraged the Empire from unleashing its full might upon this blight on its own capital world were clearly starting to fall.

📙 What kind of subjects (of conversation, of discussion, in school or whatever) does your OC find interesting or engaging or that they can talk for hours about? What kind of stuff do they just find fun? What things bore your OC to tears and they couldn’t care less about? Why? for Zu'fanda
Jumbo Ask Game
Thanks for the asks, @lordviridis !
There's a lot of Sith philosophy that someone like Zu'fanda could care less about. Sith philosophy, after all, gave rise to an Empire that is inherently prejudiced against non-humans to the point of implementing institutionalized slavery. She rolls her eyes at the study of Sith history and archeaology, and keeps Talos around largely so he can take care of those matters. So as passionate a person as she is, the Sith Code is very 'meh' to her.
The study of Sith sorcery and alchemy, however, is another matter.
Zu'fanda has a natural talent for those dark arts, and is very intrigued by the power she can gain from it. In particular, the self-determination she believes she can obtain through it entices her like nothing else.
She's frustrated she can't talk to Andronikos or Ashara about this. Talos is helpful, but his approach is academic. Xalek is - as far as sorcery goes - a brute. So she talks to Khem about it, who at least has context from his experience with Tulak Hord.
This interest will lead her to pursue darker, and darker places. The discoveries she makes will determine not only her own fate, but that of the galaxy as well.
Beware of destinies. They're rarely what you expect. - Tol Braga
