20. What were the most idyllic years of your OC's childhood? Does your OC miss those days?
I love this question! Let's start with Satien as usual and see what my other OC's think :3
Satien's childhood was actually everything but idyllic, however he did have a couple of nice moments he deeply treasures.
Satien, also known as Ja'khai was born in Gyr Abania - the Peaks, where he spend the first couple of his years. Due to the Garlean invasion he got separated from his mother and father at a rather early age as they tried to flee to the East Shroud. His mother lost her life that very day, but through some kind of miracle - praise the Elementals - Satien survived and was found by what he thinks was an Old Elezen male who led him to Little Solace.
From there on, he was in the Sylphs care. His memories of that time where he was separated from his family is at best blurry.
Thus growing up in the Shroud, he learned everything he needed from either observing or frankly trying himself out. Interacting with other Miqo'te Tribes from the Shoud always ended in disaster and so he started to avoid them. Same with the Woodwailer and Guards, who did not want another troublemaker or another mouth to feed.
Naturally, being a growing up boy he needed more to eat than a Sylph, which led to him stealing or trying to hunt. Since none taught him how to hunt though, it was not always successful. With time he got much better and also managed to steal food, despite merchants watching out for him. Till he met a ink merchant with the name Raphael, who had heard about the troublemaker and chose to use the boys need to his own advantage. Satien took the offer and started delivering packages for him. Sadly the payment he received for that was not enough to grant him a meal each day.
Now here is one of the memories he treasures a lot, which is the moment he met his first ever childhood friend. While delivering a package to the Observatorium in Coerthas he met a small girl whom chose to share her meal with him. And through that Satien slowly started to visit every time he got a chance to. Which also led to him meeting a certain Au Ri boy with the name Sagan, whom he shares quite a special memory with. As the latter was the one to steal his first kiss. And these two actually meet again much later.
Oh, another memory he treasures would be the time where the Sylphs tried to cheer him up. Satien had gotten in trouble at the time and hurt by a Woodwailer. So the Sylphs chose to make him a little Sylph plushy.
While his childhood was certainly quite rough, he doesn't look back at it anymore with sadness. Amsuingly enough, his most ildyllic years he had from 18 to 22 years old :3c in which he slowly started to learn to take things a bit more slowly.
Now let's continue with Reah!
V'reeah's childhood was not quite idyllic, but it certainly is something he cherishes deeply. Nowadays he has quite a complicated relationship with his past and his upbringing.
Reah grew up in Gyr Abania, the Lochs. In the bound of his Father's tribe and with many half-siblings. He is the first son of the Nunh and thus was granted a bit more of a 'prince' treatment. He is one of twins and while he has a close bond to her sister, Reah had the closest bond with hsi half-sister V'misha. These two were inseperable and up to a lot of silly little adventures. Being quite a friendly albeit slightly shy boy, Reah was eager to learn and help around the tribe which specialized in arts of healing.
There was a lot of expectations on his slender shoulders, as he developed and appeared rather promising as the next Tribe leader. Of course, being a 9 summer old boy, he didn't think about anything like that and rather wanted to learn about thr world.
I think his most favorite memories are him sneaking away from the tribal grounds and into the Royal Hunting Grounds. Laying in the grass and watching the stars.

I am still not quite sure how his childhood exactly looked like, but it surely wasn't an easy one. Elouan is a born Mhachi, his parents didn't get together because they loved each other but rather it was an arranged marriage to bring forth a powerful mage. In their hopes, the most powerful one yet. And they succeeded. Thus born into nobility and high expectations laying upon him, his life mainly evolved around tutoring, magic pactices and learning how to behave like a noble.
