The Order of Saints is a Militant Religious Group who worships their God of War and Peace. Takata. A woman normally depicted wearing heavy armour and a sword and shield.
They belive that peace is only achieved through acts of extreme strength, and dominating the battlefield to terrify your enemy into never attacking again is a way to achieve that.
That is why thier highest ranking warriors are called "Archangels"
They use a proprietary power armour design that is part hard utilitarian steel and part ornamental, harking back to Knights from the dark ages.
The War-Priests are the commanders of the small, elite army. And are the only ones permitted to really interact with the world outside the temple. Believing that they are protecting the holiness of their beloved soldiers from corruption. (The real reason to keep thier warriors isolated and in control)
Each Soldier was at one point an orphan, or bought from their parents if a child displayed certain attributes that were deemed desirable for the cause.
They are trained from the moment they arrive at the temple until the day they retire (usually into raising the young children) or die in battle. (The highest honor.)
They are sponsored entirely through public and private donations. Though the Order itself is rather secretive in what it truly is... to the public, it is a large charity foundation, in which it does use 50% of it's money for charity... usually it's orphanages- the one they steal get thier new recruits from.
Thier biggest benefactor? JCJenson. Who uses the Order to do thier dirty work under the guise of protection of civilians.
The warriors have vowed for complete celibacy, emotional detachment, and devotion to the cause... most of them are just very good lairs now, and incredibly good at hiding things. Even the food they eat is a controlled, high nutrient diet.
In short. They are Religious Fanatics who make child soldiers.
They suck.
