The real reason why Xayah dislikes the sun is because her feathers absorb heat much better than Rakan’s, so she gets way too warm holding all her featherdaggers around. Their distinct plumage also make them easier to see in the daytime, which is why she prefers to hunt at night where it’s harder for an enemy to keep track of her feathers.
