Explaining my MK OC character sheets for upcoming posts
These are meant to be AU character sheets, meaning that some of the things I put in these sheets will not match what goes on in the original MK timelines, and how the characters in those timelines are depicted.
There will be spoilers for a possible upcoming story, (once I get my shit together), and mentions of different types of abuse/toxicity in some of these. (I will always put a trigger warning in a character sheet if I feel it necessary)(which might be all of them because I don't know how to write healthy characters)
I am in no way talented when it comes to drawing. Therefore I have decided to use images I've made using different Avatar makers to create a few images for each OC. I will provide links to these makers the best I can.
I am very inclusive and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community (as I am apart of it), so for things like Gender and sexual orientation, I have instead put Biological sex/Gender identity, and Romantic/Sexual preference. If I put something like "Cis" infront of words like "male" or "female", it means my character identifies as what they were born as. If I put something like "FTM" or "MTF", it means their trans and they've transitioned.<(Intersex and Non-binary/Genderfluid are included in this too). For Romantic and Sexual preference, if I put something like "Bi" it means they're both Biromantic and Bisexual. If I put something like "Aromantic/Bisexual" it means their romantic preference is different from their sexual preference
I will give them two descriptions for their personalities. A description of their positive personality, and a description for their negative personality. I use the terms "positive" and "negative" instead of "light" and "dark", because I hate how the dark is always depicted as being an embodiment of evil, and the light always being the embodiment of good. To me both are neutral energies that embody protection and healing for all.
I will also make a list describing their relationships with other characters in the sheets.
I take heavy inspiration from things like Steven Universe (made by Rebecca Sugar), Lore Olympus (made by Rachel Smythe), Greek Mythology, a few of the Japanese Yokai stories, and Avatar the Last Airbender
If you have any further questions about the characters, or you want to write drabbles/one shots/jokes for them feel free to message me in my inbox or DMs, I am always open to answer/give permission to anything so long as it doesn't cross lines that shouldn't be crossed. (And trust me, I'll let you know if you have crossed a line)
