Meet 3 of my 4 main toons for the tooniverse story I've had brewing in my head for a ( somewhat short, somewhat ancient ) while.

Kippy's outfits are based on what I remember wearing through the years. The other two toons haven't been around for much longer since last christmas. These outfits for the other two (Esme, top; Kris, bottom) are just alternate outfits of theirs and is akin to concept art, since the images are technically incomplete.

I've settled on Kippy's canon/main design for years, but I gave her longer hair as an adult in reference to her middle name "Monika" (ddlc). Her full name is Kipparina Monika Twixelle McSplat, though most only know her name as Kippy Twix McSplat.

The other two are CBCs (character based characters).

Top is Esmay Valentine, based on my Deltarune OC Esme Valentine, and then the bottom is Kris Dreamer, a character based on (but who is NOT the same as) Kris Dreemurr from Deltarune. They are a couple. Their relationship is a toontown parody rendition of my oc x canon deltarune ship KriSme. KriSme is actually what I plan to share most on my tumblr blog with Toontown coming second :V

I've noticed that in Kochab, some people/spirits are sometimes addressed as "cousin." Like on page 48/49, Kye addresses some other spirits as cousins, and a few times, Sonya addresses her family members/relatives as cousins. Are they really cousins(in Sonya's case, I assume they are, but in Kye's case, being a fire spirit and all, I don't really know) How did this title of cousins come to be?

Also, Kochab is just...wow. I have no words. Like the artwork and storytelling is amazing, it has this feel to it that other comics don't have.

I forgot they both do that! haha. In story, I was thinking it’s a polite way of referring to a group you’re loosely related to, or just familiar with. Kye thinks of all spirits that way, and Sonya lumps most of her family together as ‘cousins.’ 

Not really relevant to the plot, but my thinking about spirits in Kochab is that they just kind of grow/build up a consciousness over time. Like sediment slowly building up into rock, or trees getting old and gnarly and seeming to develop a personality. Or Kye splitting off parts of her own scarf or a nearby fire, to make little firey birds or deer to help her out. But since most spirits just spring up/grow out from something in nature rather than having a distinct parent like most mortal things do, they’re sort of all loosely related in that sense.
