rambling about syms

I love thinking about what kind of environment symbiotes originally developed in. what if it was Necessary for them to be extremely hard to kill. I like to think they have an Invasive Species type of advantage on earth but also. thinking about the very effective symbiote predators out there. tales across the galaxies of vicious monsters that prey on symbiote hives. entire societies wiped out. killed or used or both. older symbiotes showing the younger ones what it was like a thousand years ago, preserved through memory over generations. the adaptations they had to evolve to deal with it.
