Inktober Day 8.

Wanted to do more black ink drawings. Thus time, Lorelei as a fertility goddess leaving flowers in her footsteps. I think I like inking with a brush more than I do with a pen although pens are easier for me to use when I want thin lines.

I've been busy with work and getting extremely sick and trying to take a night class. So spent some time trying to come up with some thinks for the rest of inktober and play catch up. 19 thru 26. 1. A young anastasia and her mother's guardian spirit. I ended up taking my cousins markers for this. 2. Rogelio de la Cruz and his sister. He has 3 older sisters that took on the role of mother after their parents died. 3. I have a white pen to "erase" inking that I didn't like. I also started using ballpoint pen and for whatever reason whenever I pass white ink over the ballpoint, it turns blue. Anyway, I played in a universe where Diego was the god of love and admire Human!Lorelei's great love for her husband and their child. Her husband ends up killing her and then is killed himself. Lorelei was one of Diego's favorite worshippers and he was clearly upset when she crossed over. 4. Lorelei's tragedy ends up appealing to the gods and goddesses in her universe and she is then transformed into the minor goddess of orphans. 5. One of the major places that Lorelei shows up on is war sites to comfort dying parents she will see their children. Sometimes the children end up orphans and she brings them to the orphanage or help them on the journey to find their relatives. 6. Sometimes the children ask to stay with her. She isn't allowed as bringing them to her realm would kill them. 7. Little witch Donatella and a black cat. 8. Witches! Mint and Donatella.
