I returned to the 31 witches prompt list to draw a doll/mannequin witch

I might build on this character because I like them a lot. My doll witch creates other dolls and mannequins. Their favorites are cats and owls. The owl beside them is also translator, the cats are there for comfort but sometimes act like spies, and the flying owls deliver messages.

So it would be a complete lie to say that I haven't worked on ANY art these last couple of months. I create a lot more when I'm trapped indoors due to blizzards which was a good opportunity to try and learn how to paint - I'm still learning. This has continued into the summer as a hobby that doesn't require the absolute inability to go outside due to the weather - Yay! These are Works In Progress for now. The first, is a two canvas mermaid painting that I'm working on as a gift to my 8 year old cousin who loves mermaids and has a mid-september birthday. The second is done for fun because queer WoC loving each other is something I need to paint/ draw more of and gives me life.

I'm new to gouache and still playing around with it. I decided that I wanted to redraw a painting I did about 6 years ago.

One last inktober posting! These are my favorite inkings that I did during Inktober 2017. I also created characters that I would like to learn a little more about and so will hopefully be drawing a little more of them in the future. :)
