The true MVP of the Dreamlands right here
The podcast naming system is nightmare and I despise it (that's a lie it makes me giggle constantly)
Whoo, what an episode. At least this one didn't make me cry. Although those flashbacks at the beginning came damn near close. That was evil.
I certainly didn't expect to be with Arthur in this episode, and to end up in the Dreamlands no less. I never would have thought that the flesh forest would bring him and Lillith back.
Oh Lillith. I love her, but I hate her. She's a bitch, but you understand why she acts the way she does. She's done awful things, but you can't help but feel a little sympathy for her. She's hilarious, but also says stuff that make me like "Girl, cut it out!"
That moment when Lorick shows Arthur how to silence Lillith, oh boy, that's gotta be a metaphor for something right? Like, depression is that voice in your head that tells you what a fuck up you are, that you don't deserve anything good, that you're a horrible person. But you don't have to listen to it. You don't have to believe what it says. Lorick was a real chad here, man.
I find it so funny that Arthur gets so riled up at being called a dog, but he did the same thing to Collins back in season 4. Doesn't feel so good to be on the receiving end of that does it? Lol
Holy shit, that ending! Looks like Arthur and Lillith are being taken straight to Carcosa. And we're going to see Yellow and possibly Larson again. That's going to be one ugly confrontation. Larson's probably had the shit kicked out of him since he was brought to the Dreamlands. And if the dancers still have cracked masks and haven't been restored to what they were, then Yellow's still working on putting things back together after he was gone for so long.
But it looks like Arthur definitely has a way out, this isn't the end for him yet. And I know him and John will be back together again, I don't want to think about anything different. And their reunion will be sweet and moving and loving and will make us all cry. I will speak this into existence.
Malevolent doodles I had posted in the server! Arthur Lester, John Doe, and Lorick (who I will draw properly at some point :'D).
I wanna work on their designs a little bit more but I am really enjoying the story so far and the server has been absolutely lovely <3
I started listening to it I think some time in March or April?
Some more stuff about the design, but cut for spoilers for Part 12:
Would polyamory could have solved their problem?
