The Gathering of Nations 1114 - Locko Park, Derby, United Kingdom

I'll do IC first and then all OOC second IC Nots Getting stuck in the Casino for an hour on the Sunday because of monsters searching for people of my new persuasion I think that might be it actually... IC Hots Arriving into faction on Friday to be greeted loudly and warmly with "The Hammer!" "The Hammer has returned!" was awesome! Bringing my betrothed to the Maurabian camp and her being very warmly welcomed and approved by all of the Brotherhood of the Desert Night Being given the new post of "Official Tax Collector of the Office of the Caliph" by older Maurabian brother and sent out to the factions to give them the new laws of the land they were guesting in... Then hearing about the uproar caused by our visits in the factions and especially in the guilds :-) Going to the Casino and introducing my betrothed to "Liars Dice" it got very agressive very quickly :-D Many, many, many, many Maurabian Sack weddings were performed (my own included) and were enjoyed or detested for the betterment of all concerned Being involved in 2 rituals, one of which I got soaked and the second one got to sing the words to a song (knowing the words made me geek shame for the first time ever in my life) Being introduced to Zephyr and Mistral (sorry for spellings) and being drawn into the Vampire bloodline of Spirit Being squishy and quite unable to leave the maurabian camp for all of sunday made for some excellent oppurtunities to speak and get to know more people. The Gaddaffi Song!!! Embracing the curse of Porphyria sunday night and discovering some of the excellent benefits to being even the youngest kind of undead Watching the faction championship and being privileged to witness two maurabians in the final!!! In the last battle on sundays discovering that all the monsters were hitting people with Disease, Decay, Fatal, or "Affect living"... Walking into said mob of monsters knowing that a lot of them were incapable of killing me. "Hello my friend! Are you shadow mage?" "Yes Hammer, I am," "Ah you have heard of me good... now halt that unliving please!" OOC Nots Having to move my OOC tent, MUST BUY BELL TENT! The Weather on Monday OOC Hots This one is always short and easy because it's always the same thing. My biggest OOC Hot will always be the people who made the event for me. It was even better this year as they also helped make the event for my partner aswell and for that I will be eternally grateful. You all know who you are and if I don't name you it's only because I have to get back to work soon!

Ancestors of the Bears faction

The faction was visited by many ancestors of the differant clans of Caledonia

lets see if i remember all of them (eerk)

Pigheid- the magpie shaman ancestor of clan MacTrew

Black Douglas/ Douglas the insatiable: the randy ancestor of the MacTrews 

Bronwyn: Ancestor of the Mc Greggor clan, the first mortal host of the Morrigan, became an ancestor of family and protection after her death

Montiac Mc Mead: founder and ancestor of clan mcmead

Dagda: the father of the three queens, ancestor of feasting, fighting and fucking- the three F's :P

Stendarr: the Ancestor of Clan Stendarr (honestly not much has been written down about him)

It all got a bit much for the priesthood trying to wrangle ancestors so they don't cause too much trouble

Spring Moot 1114- highs and lows

Highs - My first Linear!: Lheyna got "volunteered" to go on a bears plot mission to forest rise  in the great forest (which made lheyna's heart sink as that was the place where frostie died) but it was awesome!: shattered some goblins stuff- knocked out a werebear... twice. - was accepted as an initiate priestess of the Cerridwen: i am now the proud owner of a black half stripe on my face after proving myself worthy of serving the queen Cerridwen( bear ancestor of death, knowledge, wisdom and prophecy) - Was able to explore Lheyna's character past more when some false morrigan followers (nasty, cannibal nutjobs) came attacking in the night- a serious ghost that has come back to haunt her. People in my  clan thought i'd been affected by a curse that was going round coz lheyna is usually so calm, gentle and collected but lheyna wanted to rip people's faces off and capture one alive to torture horribly. - Been put forward for warlock, the warlocks in my faction are now keeping an eye on me to see if i'm worthy ( Dum Dun Duuuuuuun!) - The weather was lovely, sunny and warm! aside from the friday night (see lows)

Lows - falling awkwardly during monstering as a skaven on sunday and hurting my back enough to stop me running around for a bit- stuart drugged me on some strong painkillers and left me in the tent :P - The friday night was FREEZING!!! it dropped down to -5c it was so cold all i could do was lie in bed and shiver violently with stuart.
