Now that's definitely what you call luck! I've been involved for years with nothing lol! I went to finally join a Drama group last with but their auditions were on the same week I was away for work training, so no luck there :( I've always had it into my head I'm not skinny or pretty enough for acting, but it is all about luck and I guess I just have to hope!

indeed it is, and it feels kind of horrible knowing that there's people out there who work for years and go nowhere. Presently I'm feeling a lot of guilt over it to be honest because it doesn't seem right. But it's the way of these kind of things. 

And never put yourself down for that kind of thing okay? Because a) i'm sure it's really not the case and b) it doesn't help anything. it's not a healthy mindset. My body shape is really weird personally. I have a pretty skinny and flat chested top half and very wide hips and quite a large bum comparatively. Perfect example of a pear-shaped body, and a perfect example of an unconventional figure for the industry. Not really a problem at all. 

Honestly in acting you're going to get enough people trying to tear you down, so don't do it to yourself as well.

apparently, not far past the waterwheel inn is another derelict site. I can completely understand why you wouldn't want to go back up that way though. I got the chills just looking through a load of pictures of the inn that I found on the internet. You got me curious, I want to know what happened there...

I just found something really interesting. You said the waterwheel was closed around December? I just found some minutes from and Licensing board meeting confirming the place was long closed by february

We both really want to go back at the same time as we don't. On the one hand that place was dangerous and terrifying, but on the other hand there's definitely a story there and we're both curious to find out just what it is.

That's really interesting about the minutes, though. From what I've gathered, the last week it was open was the first week of December (or at least, that's when all the reviews run out, and there's no word after that). Then, when we visited, there were Christmas decorations everywhere - tinsel and little Christmas trees for all the reception desks and things. If the minutes say the place was closed for a while by February, that confirms our suspicions that it was closed in a hurry, which it must have been, because literally everything was left behind. I don't think any attempt was made to pack up. All of the documents were still in the office (which is a place I want to spend a while looking though properly, if I ever get the courage to go back in there), all of the furniture was left, the food, the bars looked as though they had been ransacked so maybe there had been stuff worth stealing there, too. It literally looked as though everyone left sometime in mid-December and never returned.

Combine that with the notices for insurance and the letter about court, the police door, and the conflicting stories about why it closed, and something is seriously going on in that place.

So, I actually love creepy stories, (started following you today because of the one in the woods) and I've had a few minor experiences at the old hotel where I work, (unfortunately managed to debunk one). I wondered where that path and woods were by your Uni? Where you saw the creepy entity. Because it almost looks familiar to me (I'm British too). :)

Hotels are brilliant for creepy experiences, it has to be said. I’ve managed to have one in pretty much every hotel I’ve stayed at; I can’t imagine working at one!

The area is right behind part of the campus for the University of Stirling. There’s some student chalets (Pendreich Way) and then a stone wall, and further along the wall there’s a little gap. If you go through that, you’re on the path, and you can get to the road, stairs and mountain from there. The wood is called the Hermitage Wood. The little lane itself is unnamed.
