I'm curious about what you based the costumes for Cabriel and his kingdom on! I'm noticing some cool recurring patterns and think its really interesting!
putting his alternate outfits here as a reference :D
so there are a handful of different points of inspiration, for one: birds! the royal family all have wings and are inspired by different bird species (and partially dinosaurs >:]).
for example, the pattern on the white coat resembles the feathers of a snow owl, the long trains for both fluffy coats resemble folded wings or a feathered tail, as do the ribbons for the central design!
secondly, it is COLD out there! the "what if I gave him a fluffy scarf?" was a revolutionary idea for Cabriel's design!
the references I found in modern outfits (the story doesn't take place in modern times, so I do my best to adjust them) very much had a "mafioso wife" aesthetic, which also fits really well!
their family doesn't literally operate like a crime syndicate, but there are some, let's say, dangerous undertones when the siblings talk to each other or their parents. in addition, there is a strong sense of hierarchy!
in regards to the colour scheme, all my OCs are colour-coded and Cabriel is a medium/sky blue.
I hope that answered your question! thank you so much for asking about my OCs <3
