I've had this idea since may of last year, but back then my animal drawing skills were subpar to say the least... and I was busy with normal artfight refences as well!!

what if all my humanoid characters had feral designs as well? they're all practically based off of a specific or fictional animal anyhow, wouldn't that be fun??

yes, it absolutely would! at least to me <3 so here I present to you the animalistic versions of Vela (butterfly), Lohi (axolotl) and Haiki (small chinchilla-like fluffball)!

I'm curious about Kamos.

How long has he worked as an executioner? And what brought him to the proffession?

he immigrated to the autocratic state he currently lives in from a war zone when he was quite young, so he had to make ends meet by working as an executioner's assistant, then an executioner himself

he proved to have quite the talent for dealing with criminals in a way that made them useful to the state (if there was a use left for them, that is) and had exceptional skill in magic, so he rose through the ranks very quickly!

at the start of the story he's around 23 years old and in wholly charge of a local/regional prison, along with who gets sent to it and what their sentences are. so lots of unchecked power!

he's got a pretty dark backstory and acts pretty ruthless, but his actions are strictly based on evidence and whether a decision would be productive in the long run
