FASHION CREDITS: LADY GAGA BY NICK KNIGHT FOR DOM PÉRIGNON
Pour it up for Lady Gaga, who is teaming up with Champagne brand Dom Pérignon for a creative new collaboration.
The duo will be launching limited edition bottles and a sculpture designed by Gaga herself on April 6. The alliance is a "celebration of how pushing boundaries of creation, constant reinvention and passionate dedication to one's craft can elevate us, individually and collectively," according to a press release.
The campaign is shot and directed by her longtime collaborator Nick Knight. Styling by Nicola Formichetti and Marta Del Rio, makeup by Sarah Tanno-Stewart, hair by Frederic Aspiras and manicure by Miho Okawara.
Gaga is posing with a bottle of the luxury Champagne while exuding nothing but royalty and excellence. All hail Chromatica!
She's rocking a bespoke dramatic metallic leather and silk faille gown with a matching headpiece by Serbian designer Miodrag Guberinic, whose website is a must-visit! Costume designers Swayed Stature, Michael Sui and James Christie helped bring this piece to life as well.
Mio revealed that this space-tastic beauty was sketched back in 2015 and stayed in his drafts until recently.
Gaga completed the regal tableau with six unsigned cocktail rings: a plush pink pavé clover formed from four pear-shaped stones; a stark, square-cut champagne crystal set high and architectural; a sculptural rose rendered in tiers of deep raspberry pavé; an opulent floral cluster centered by a rich rubellite and scattered with multicolored crystals; a feather-like sweep of pink and clear pavé caught mid-motion; and an oval stone wrapped in hot-pink shoulders — indulgent, celebratory, and perfectly aligned with the Dom Pérignon fantasy.
The next look is a bespoke design by young designer Wiederhoeft, whose work should be familiar to you.
Gagaloo rocked a custom Elizabethan-inspired pink lamé ruffled gown with voluminious sleeves and elongated, dramatic train!
Just like the design before, this piece was crafted with the help of a handful of young designers: Saint Sintra, Y. Hadari and Carla Maldonado.
Black fishnet tights and the Pleaser Flamingo-1020 black vinyl platform lace-up ankle boots completed the look.
In a few quick scenes we can spot Gaga rocking a hot pink metallic number.
This constructed bodysuit with cut-out detail, corset back, and silver-tone hardware is a custom creation by young designer Lacey Dalimonte!
On top, she threw on a matching half heart chrome leather bolero jacket, custom-made for her by Candice Cuoco.
Last but definitely not least, the Italian-American beauty is seen dripping in jewels while embracing the oversized bottle of champagne.
Her insane holographic metal butterfly and chain facepiece with Swarovski crystals, she styled as a headpiece, is signed by Gregory Kara - another new name in her ever-growing closet!
The pink & silver crystal choker with matching bracelet and cocktail ring are part of a set that drag jewelry designer Elea’s Closet custom-made for our girl.
Here’s a closer look at the insane gradient nails Japanese nail artist Miho Okawara exclusively created for this shoot!
In the BTS videos we can spot some of her dancers rocking two different crystallized face harnesses by emerging designer Gilles Asquin, whose Instagram page definitely needs a visit by you.
Other pieces worn by the dancers, also referred as “The Court”, are the Marina Hoermanseder Fall/Winter 2020 pink ruffled Swiss dot organza puff sleeve blouse, custom Lory Sun statue-inspired body piece in pink, and Gregory Kara full face armour piece hand-embellished with Swarovski crystals, pearls and grey hematite beads!
Others rocked the pink tinsel look including jacket, pants and bunny mask, several pink exploding tulle dresses and draped sleeve, ruffled jumpsuit, all from Alessandro Trincone’s “Areinmi” collection.
In another BTS photo, Gaga is seen wearing a look by Vex Clothing that unfortunately didn’t make the cut.
It’s a custom pink latex bra with ruffle trim, and high-waisted shorts with scalloping, peplum, bow-embellished garters and crystals, based on their Moderne basque.
