Well, probably nobody cares, but I've been looking for what movie was "Christopher Lee's new movie" that gets refered in the song "Vampirela" by Alaska y Dinarama (The song was originally for Los Vegetales) and I think that the movie must be "Howling II: Striba - Werewolf Bitch"

I may be wrong, but taking into account the date on which the song was originally released more or less and that in the 80s movies took even a little while to be released in other countries, it makes the most sense to me.

The other option could be "House of the Long Shadows" A bit for the same reason, issue of dates and that Friday the 13th Part III is mentioned. Considering that in Spain Friday the 13th Part III was released around Summer of 1983 it does not leave us many other options of movies.

So yeah Vampirella in that song was watching either "Howling II: Striba - Werewolf Bitch" or "House of the Long Shadows" when she met Alaska (idc that the song was originally sang by a dude, Alaska having a sapphic romance with Vampirella is much more fun)

En algún momento Los Nikis, grupo ramoniano de los años ochenta, mutó en Los Nikis de la Pradera (nombre country y chiquitesco) para dar rienda suelta a su gusto por Hank Williams y la Carter Family, Patsy Cline y Dolly Parton, todos ellos presentes en su recién estrenado primer LP homónimo. Un bonito y divertido trabajo de ese género que jamás llegó a calar en nuestro país. LNDLP son Rafa, Arturo, Joaquín, Mauro y Nacho.

Mi favorita de los Rubettes en riguroso directo. “I Can Do It” fue su cuarto single en marzo de 1975 (UK, nº 8). Me acuerdo de una versión muy buena que hacían en directo Los Vegetales que ponía Juan de Pablos en “Flor de Pasión”. El estribillo decía más o menos: “Puedo hacerlo, puedo hacerlo y lo voy a hacer, puedo bailar boogie, puedo bailar break. Puedo hacerlo realmente bien. Puedo hacerlo, puedo hacerlo y lo voy a hacer”. ¡Vaya si lo hicieron!
