The One The Witch Should Lose
Throw them back into the sea, let Aphroditie bless you with another all over again. Stop awaiting their touch during Beltane, stop dreaming of teaching them about your beloved faith. Stop spending full moons sending spells to beckon them, instead start using new moons to cleanse your desires of them. Do not spend any more Sabbats longing for them. They will never come into your practice with open arms, they are amongst the non-believers of the world. They will keep throwing stones at everything you hold dear, let them keep their closed mind and move on.
You already lost them, when you awakened the witch inside of you, when you were a bit more “normal”, less spiritual, you may have won them over, but that chapter in your life is over. This craft saved your life, give it the credit it deserves, instead of casting unearned credit to people who, in reality, never attained it. They say that witchcraft comes with a price, let them be that price and move on. Let the Gods bless you with new people who align with your spirit. Don’t look back, because in truth, you never really loved the person you were before you became a witch, and in time, you’ll find that you never truly loved the one you had called your lover back then. Your more authentic union, your more perfect reflection will come in time.
