i’m gonna ramble abt this now and how i see it (ik im goin into too much detail but i had this idea and my lil autism brain was like *grabby hands*)

Sodapop is covering his ears, he doesn’t wanna hear the pain his family is going through. He doesn’t want to hear the constant arguments Darry and Ponyboy are having.

Darry is covering his eyes. He’s blind to the fact his bothers are different people to him and won’t turn out like him when he’s older. He’s trying to raise Ponyboy to be like him, to be reliable and strong, but it’s not working because Ponyboy isn’t like that, and that’s what’s causing most of the problems. He’s also blind to Sodapops suffering of always having to be middle man and put up with his and Ponyboys arguing.

Ponyboy is covering his mouth. I like to think after the events of the book, he refused to speak about what happened. About Dallas, about Johnny. He wouldn’t speak a word of it, if someone brings it up, he changes topics. He’s also probably keeping a lot of secrets from the gang that i can’t remeber or i’ve forgotten. And also the fact “I can lie so good it scares me sometimes” makes sense because he’s lying, he can’t speak the truth.

The Predstrogen situation has recently come to my attention and frankly i am appalled.

Tumblr is regarded as a pretty LGBTQ+ place, and i am still so saddened that transgender women aren’t allowed to feel safe in their own space or community

For many years transgender people, but especially women have been the face of numerous amounts of hate, and i am so upset as someone in the transgender community.

I am in no way affiliated, or involved with Predstrogen, this is merely my stance on this as a young, transgender person on Tumblr

I really hope we see an improvement in the treatment of trans people, but especially trans women in the world.

Ladies, stay safe please, i love you, you are worthy and NEVER be silent about your struggles and the issues about this
