I have emailed her daughter, and gotten a response back, at least a little bit, in regards to why. If you haven’t contacted her daughter, or would like a little more info, let me know.
I know we’re all kind of in shock, and why is a big question right now.
Okay, but, whatever the initial cause, it does make me sad to know that there’s this whole Us v. Them wank and resentment going on between fandom youth and adults (the definition of which seems to vary). I think one of the best things about being in fandoms here on Tumblr is that I interact with so many people and I actually don’t know their age/gender/nationality/race, etc. I mean, it’s lovely when I do, and then we can connect on more than one level, but it’s also nice when each post is ageless/genderless, etc. etc. I listen to everyone with the same seriousness and enjoyment.
It’s something you can’t do face to face, because our eyes and ears give us too much information, right? And then everything you hear comes through preconceptions and prejudices that are so ingrained you don’t even know you’re painting their conversation with them.
I hope the end result of this flareup isn’t people thinking they’re only safe when talking to their own age group, because that would be a tremendous loss of one of the internet’s greatest gifts.
And also of a serious procrastinator XD I should clean them regularly, instead I just put aside the dirty ones and use clean ones until I'm nearly out XD

Just fair warning, the most recent post from March 3, “The Scene”, deals with the manner of Bonita’s death, and it is not an easy read. If there are things you don’t want to know, I recommend skipping that.
My dear friend @meekobits drew this for me when she learned of my mourning over @losethehours. She knew how much I loved Bonita's stories, so she drew the life in a story. It has comforted me, and I hope some of you may find comfort in it too. If anyone would like a copy of the piece, send me a message and I'll send you it.
There's so much I want to say about Bonita, there's so much I feel, but right now all that comes out is tears. But also an overwhelming amount of love. I had surprised her countless times, and she had surprised me just as many. We had often joked what trouble and fun we'd get into should we ever meet in person. I hope somewhere, somehow, we will still one day get that chance.
If anyone ever wants to talk, I will be more than happy to listen and reply. She had a beautiful Tumblr family that she was surrounded by, and I was and still am honoured to be a part of it. I love you all, and I love her.
