As many of my friends from the US celebrate Thanksgiving, I give many thanks my pets. They love us unconditionally. They comfort us when we are sad or sick. They entertain us. They keep us busy. They become part of our family. Luka (white) has been with since he was born (11yo) and Miss Susie (grey) who's been with us for the last two years (15yo). We got Susie after Gramma Eunice and Grampa Joe passed two years ago. It took some getting used to for Luka who's been the one in charge and Malika, our cat. This ol' girl came in to rule the roost. Winter, Kasey's newer cat thought she could take her ... SURPRISE!!! This girl has spunk. She had her bed (Kasey bought it for both dogs to share - it's huge) and NO ONE was allowed on it. (BTW it's made for a BIG dog lol). In just a short time, we say goodbye to Susie. This beautiful baby brought us comfort after our loss. We promised Gramma that we would take her if anything happened to them. It's time now for her to return to them. Return to her rightful owners. May you Rest in Peace beautiful girl. No more pain. #RIP #losingapethurts #nomoresuffering #ilovewobc #bridgingthegap #wellness https://www.instagram.com/p/BqfZ31RheiS/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=6hti9pv3u5vh
