Day 4/18 Colombia 🇨🇴: Sunday Funday at COMUNA 13, Medellin just went up at ERIN MICKLOW on YOUTUBE! On day 4 of my 18 day trip, I start to get into the rhythm of Colombia 🇨🇴 After a solid night of drinks & salsa dancing with my new friends, we wake up in our dorm room at Los Patios Hostel & @toocaroforyou invites me to brunch to start the day with her friend, @jacksoncosens. After brunch @toocaroforyou mentions they’re doing the tour of COMUNA 13 & says there’s 1 more spot available & encourages me to come along! Day 3/18: Colombia 🇨🇴 The Hunt for Gluten-Free Oats + A Night of Salsa Dancing w/New Friends! 💃 JUST WENT UP AT ERIN MICKLOW ON YOUTUBE! After a really solid Friday night party with new friends in Medellin 🇨🇴, I wake up to forage for vegan food not having eaten much the past 2 days. One easy but nutritious vegan travel staple I like to make is overnight oats, so I spend a rainy Saturday afternoon in Medellin hunting for gluten-free rolled oats (which turned out to be a lot more challenging than I anticipated! 🤦‍♀️). Retrieving my oats I head back to my hostel, @lospatioshostel, to make them & eat some leftovers. While hanging in the common area, I meet @toocaroforyou from Switzerland & we get to chatting. Day 2/18: Colombia 🇨🇴 just went up at ERIN MICKLOW on YouTube! 🤘 On my first full day in Medellin, Colombia 🇨🇴, I take the free walking tour hosted by my hostel, @lospatioshostel where I became fast friends with the guide, @estebanm.madrigal.
