I just realized it's been exactly six weeks since I started seriously creating/posting fanart for this fandom, so I just wanted to take a second to thank y'all for being such a fun community, and for encouraging so much creativity. I've done some drawing here and there, but NEVER like I have for Stranger Things, and for Byler. I've been drawing like a maniac this last month and a half like the spirit of Will Byers himself is possessing me, and I think that's beautiful. I feel like I've really got much better idea of what my own personal style is, what I like, a rhythm to it, etc. (I'm also REALLY trying hard to make peace with the fact that they look slightly different every single time.... other artists seem so consistent, I have no idea how they do it??! But I feel like my guys are still recognizable from pic to pic, and I always like how they turn out individually, so fuck it, we ball 💪)
So to celebrate that milestone (and Mike-Would-Have-Explored Day!) I thought I'd post almost all of my figure art that I've done during these last six weeks, to commemorate how much progress I've made. Seeing it all laid out together like this feels really special to me. I'm really proud of all of these, and I hope you like them too!
