lost bus pass girl
I lost my bus and asked for an uber, yep, that me.
BC IF I AM NOT 30 MINUTES EARLY I KILL MYSELF.
Goodbye old friend. The vultures have you for now, for the coming dawn is approaching, and the light at the end of the tunnel couldn't be any more illuminated. Steadfast my friend; Steadfast.
Lost Bus
May 6, 2012 Raced from 2014 - Still Actively Racing Thoroughbred Mare - United States
It's not known how she got her name.
Lost Bus won in her debut, racing twice more in 2014 with a 2nd place in the California Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Stakes and a third in the Generous Portion Stakes. She returned in 2015 to win an Allowance Optional Claiming, and remained in the Allowance and Claiming rank for the remainder of the year, where she notched only a second place finish and off the board in five starts. In her last start of the year, she finished third in the Kalookan Queen Stakes.
In 2016, she entered in the G2 Santa Monica Stakes at odds of 64-1, and shocked the field dueling with Finest City for a half mile and outlasting her to the finish line. (Finest City would go on to win the 2016 Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Sprint!) Lost Bus would go on to win an Allowance Optional Claiming in March, finishing third in the G2 Great Lady M Stakes and 4th in the G1 Vanity Mile.
In July she won the Spring Fever Handicap, before finishing 5th in her most recent start, the G3 Rancho Bernardo Handicap. With no recent workouts, hopefully she's getting some well deserved time off!
Also a personal note - This name stuck out to me because I used to go the Belmont Stakes every year via a local tour bus, and one year we got reeeeaaaally lost because our driver wasn't familiar with the area and we drove around a bunch of quaint neighborhoods with the tiniest houses I've ever seen. So every time I see this mare I think of the time we got lost on the way to the Belmont. XD (They don't run the trip anymore due to "Lack of interest" and being unable to sell out the whole bus. T___T )
