I am obsessed with how Archer caresses Rin’s face and ruffles her hair in Heaven’s Feel Lost Butterfly. It’s apologetic, a ‘this is it for me, Rin. I’m sorry I can’t see this through to the end’. It made me tear up and start wishing that things didn’t have to be this way. I know this isn’t his story anymore, we had that in Unlimited Blade Works, but I still wanted him to be around a little longer even though I know this isn’t how the route goes.

I have so many feelings over this three second scene, my goodness.
