I wonder where this photo came from. Her personal collection? A photoshop of two pictures? A picture taken specifically for the movie with a wig on? It intrigues me.
Melissa McBride Birthday Week | Day 1: Favorite Movie Role.
➥ Sheila (Lost Crossing, 2007)
“Marie rummages through Sheila's small suitcase. She finds two items of interest: A photograph of a much younger Sheila posed next to a very small child and a bottle of pills bearing the words "Wellsworth Psychiatric Clinic” (x)
It’s a heart wrenching story, in 32 minutes. I just sat there contemplating for about an hour after the film ended. Melissa is such a talented and versatile actress, she can easily show a wide range of believable emotions and depths through her eyes alone making you feel exactly what Sheila is feeling. If this performance from MMB doesn’t make your jaw drop, nothing will. She is just briliiant.

Melissa McBride Appreciation Week
Day 4: Favorite Emmy-worthy Moment
I’ve watched pretty much everything on Melissa’s filmography, and though she was always talented, 2007 was really the year everything comes together for her. I think we started to get a hint of the kind of quality she was capable of back in 2001 with Deadbeats. But it’s in her three roles of 2007 - The Mist, The Promise, and Lost Crossing - where she becomes a powerhouse. Frank Darabont and Jeff DeMunn were so impressed by her performance in The Mist that they called on her again in 2010 for The Walking Dead, and we can all see what they saw.
