J Dilla Remains The King Of The Beats w/ "Vol. 2: Lost Scrolls"
J Dilla reigns as the "King Of The Beats" with the newest installment from the Lost Scrolls series, which is a set of newly excavated instrumentals straight from his personal storage space in Detroit. The truth is, there's nothing like the real thing, and this release has 16 tracks of the genuine article. You can get Vol. 2: Lost Scrolls now on iTunes via Yancey Music Group.

Snap Judgement // J. Dilla's Lost Scrolls
Snap Judgment is a terrific show on NPR, hosted by Glynn Washington, that focuses on storytelling. If you are unfamiliar with this podcast, I strongly urge you to check out a few episodes.
Recently Snap Judgement featured a story about a Detroit record store owner named Jeff Bubeck, who stumbles upon hip-hop legend, J. Dilla's personal record collection, including several mix tapes with unreleased material. What Jeff does with that collection is what takes this story from good to great.
