The rose petals faded like the son she once had. Gone but not forgotten, she clenched on tight to his badge. Her heart never bitter from him wanting to leave. Passion, pride, and honor had made him a hero. "His life taken to save the lives of others." She kept repeating the words- A flag, neatly folded was placed in her arms. She fell to her knees and began to weep. Guns fired towards the skies, opening the gateway to heaven She believes her baby will soon be in her arms again as he left this world happy.
