I have spent well over 1000hrs in this game.
Just a week or two ago I literally got my last needed villager... So no more move ins or outs.
I had just organized a dream address game ((a famous mushroom scavenger hunt)) as well as put out presents for visitors...
I also finally organized all the flowers in the town and put extras into another area...
And did so much work the past few days and get things ready to start posting again and getting people to visit... I was even going to change my tumblr url again...
This morning I got up to set up a new character...
One room was going to be a mart, city street, school, club, saloon, and library or visitor center...
Well... My 3ds is gone...
And in it was my ACNL game...
It would be "ok" if it were just the system...
If it were just the system, yes I would be out $200, but I could save and work very hard the next week or two... or three... and buy a new one. But the game was in it... There is no way I can get back that copy that I have spent forever on. So many hours, days, weeks... that is gone.
All the hard work...
We have looked everywhere...
We just recently dug through the garbage... That is how hard we are looking.
Yesterday was a busy day with dishwasher installation, housework, grocery shopping, etc.
I checked my husband's 3ds and last time I played was before we went grocery shopping. And I took it with me in my purse to streetpass people ((it's a really small purse so the 3ds takes up almost all of the purse...))
I called the store and no one returned on... but we have no idea how it could have gotten out of my purse either...
We also walked around the house with his 3ds to try and "streetpass" me... But sometimes, even though we live together and our 3ds' are "passing" each other a lot, it sometimes takes about 3days for us to pass each other.
... I don't know what to do...
