Of course, she remembered how well he had responded to her kisses, which had silenced the voices in his head, but Emma had been so focused on encouraging Killian to fight the darker impulses, to kiss him when he needed distraction, to look for ways to teach him magic that wouldn’t tempt him to do evil deeds out of lack of control on his instincts - she didn’t want him to do anything because of her choice to give him the darkness - that she had forgotten that Killian had other non-dark impulses, and that he could do things for her too. So when he pushed her against the wall and bit her neck, she let out a moan, louder than usual, hand shooting up to his hair to grip it and keep him close to her, and was reminded of how much she needed him too, and not as a distraction from dark-anything, she just wanted that because it felt good.

To say that she was relaxing would be an understatement, Emma allowing herself a good soapy bath and candles to lit the place, culs up in a messy bun and music; one of the many perks of remembering a life with more comforts.When her other half showed in a cloud of smoke, she leaned forward with a smile, “Evening, love. “You do need a distraction,” Emma agreed, because he had no other choice but to use magic in that world, and that meant having to fight dark thoughts about power even more - though, luckily, Killian’s personality might have been the least compatible with that kind of dark curse in the first place. Still, always happy to give him a hand or two, she didn’t even hesitate giving a firm squeeze to his backside after slapping her hand on it, biting a smile that was already curling her lips.

Lotte had prepared them a special dinner in her chambers and it felt like a date, which made Emma feel ridiculously giddy.  She hadn’t wanted to celebrate, but a dinner was acceptable, it was something that happened regardless of the day.  By the end of it, at the dessert, they were sitting side by side; she placed her hand on his, squeezing it gently and feeling a bit flustered because it was all more romantic, and the red roses made it visibly so, than the was used to. “Thank you.”

Emma closed the flask that she had just opened with the intention of drinking the bitterness away, her expression softening. “They have a point, love. You shouldn’t want to be seen with me. Hell, you shouldn’t want me,” she pointed out, although her voice lacked of anger. Instead, she stretched her arm to reach his belt and pull him to her, her other hand reaching to cup his cheek as she kissed him softly, “You have low standards.”

Seventeen: My muse slips their hand into your muse’s pants

They had only been together a couple of times, despite the fact that he was a natural and ‘eager to learn’ whenever she gave him the occasion, she was still trying to hold back. He still blushed, she couldn’t be too forward with the poor guy. But then he went and did things like that. Helping a bloody kitten that was out in the rain and then coming back inside soaked in water and smiling once it was reunited with its mother. He had to be doing it on purpose. She followed him when he went to change, her mouth on his neck and her hands helping him out of his shirt from behind him, and then she thought of showing him something else that was new and let one of them slip lower, skimming inside his pants where she could take him in her hand.

“Can’t let you get hurt,” Emma murmured, “I can’t die, so… what the hell.” Not the best attitude, considering that she still felt pain and in any case having her heart crushed in a blast strong enough to destroy her body would just turn her into a soulless monster. This hadn’t been the case this time, luckily, but she doubted that even in a situation like that she wouldn’t have shielded Killian all the same. “I’m never letting you get hurt.”

Emma’s smile was promising all sorts of mischief when she pushed him against the tree, her magic opening all the buttons of his shirt; they could still see the palace from there but she hardly cared, slowly going to her knees as her lips left kisses down his stomach, “Still mad at me?” she asked, her good mood about to improve his day.
