is content for the romance between sera and a female inquisitor allowed? or is it supposed to just be about sera in this case, not a protagonist as well?

About OC’s...

Just to clarify, since there seem to have been some confusion about the OC’s and ocs/canon ladies: It is completely fine to submit/post canon/female oc fanworks, as we also want to promote f/f content. We have a f/f romance/friendship day specifically for that and even outside of it, it is fine to submit and post all kind of f/f content adhering to the rules. You don't have to cut the female characters off from their relationships! They don't have to be isolated. It's fine to have other characters, the player character even, interacting with them. Dragon Age are OC focused games, after all. We just want to ensure you don’t forget all the other canon da female characters over that, which is why we emphasized to have the focus on them, instead of oc’s.

Since, as said, the week is meant to concentrate on the canon ladies of da and their relationships, the one thing we are not reblogging/posting on our blog are standalone OC’s of any form. We understand that you all love your oc’s (and you should!) and are proud of them, but this is not what this week is meant to be about. There is a large lists of minor or not so minor female canon characters to choose from that deserve your/our love as well. And also, as said, if things go well with our first ever event, we can definitely plan in an oc day next time :)

Hope this helps to clear up any remaining confusion. Now back to (hopefully) many posts this week <3

Hi! Small question: I have a ficlet that features Cassandra and a gender-neutral protagonist (as in, it could be interpreted as any gender). Is it okay if I submit it for the female/female relationship day? Or it it better if I submit it for the lady warriors day?

The consensus between the mods is that since you went to all the trouble of making the protagonist gender-neutral, it would be strange to box them into a f/f relationship day, so perhaps a warrior day would fit better. That being said, this is still your story and your choice, so you should do what you feel is correct.

1.) My content tends to only focus on individual characters rather than pairings or friendships - is this okay? 2.) Is the emphasis on canon chars or OC's or just whatever people come up with? 3.) Do we send submissions in on the applicable day of the event or can we submit ahead of time?

Hi there.  These are really great questions, and its good that we get it all cleared up beforehand.1. Is it OK to focus on individual characters rather than individuals or friendships?Yes!  Focusing on an individual character and giving her the spotlight is completely fine; however, for certain days (i.e. F/F romance or Friendship) there  should be some reference to those important relationship she has in her life. 

2. Is the emphasis on canon characters, OC’S, or just whatever?This week was developed in response to the lack of character appreciation weeks for the canon ladies of Thedas, so the emphasis is definitely on canon characters.  We want to celebrate and give attention to the amazing, but undervalued women of the Dragon Age franchise.  That being said, if you want to include your Warden, Hawke, Inquisitor or other OCs in a work that features one of those canon ladies, you are more than welcome to do so!  However, we ask that the spotlight be on the canon character. 

3. Is it OK to send in submissions early?

I thought Warner Bros wanted a live action DC multiverse? Buy they get rid of one Constantine for another? Why not two? This is the same shit that goes on with Batman and the other Gor2ham characters. Warner Brothers are no good for DC comics and deserve 20 fucking whacks each (if you don't get the reference, google 20 fucking whacks).

Basically it’s the same ideology we like to hype the multiverse but actually using it is another story unless it’s Batman or Superman but remind everyone they have a multiverse. Like you can clearly tell the writing for Constantine to get him off this show was clearly you lost rights and now you loose the character, so now find a way to get him to leave. ( SPOILERS BELOW)

To have the character get tricked to poisoning themselves which isn’t even clever cause the villain has the same go to move and then have a magic mushroom do clean up is pretty meh.
