sometimes a mother figure is a giant spider demon from the depths of a place worse than hell. my wizard Lothryn, in her infinite audacity, has managed to befriend? Lolth? if such a thing is truly possible. at the very least instead of smashing her like a bug, Lolth carries her around the demonweb pits like a pet mouse. nevermind all that trying to persuade her to become her daughter and cosmic heiress. i'm sure it'll be fine.

guess who isn’t dead - it’s me! summer’s been busy, so i’ve got to catch up on posting all the art I did now that it’s ending. this here’s my player character for a new 5e homebrew campaign!

archivist Lothryn Standish, a Scribes Wizard who’s been hiding in plain sight in a nation currently hostile to all mer-people (including selkies like her - stats-wise, we made a nifty triton homebrew subrace that let’s you shapeshift at will, but water reveals your true nature - first pic is her ‘half-elf’ disguise and second is her actual appearance). her sentient spellbook houses the consciousness of an Unseelie fey lordling, the Brambleheart Prince -  insufferable fop, pest, and confidant to Lothryn
