I screen-capped these for everyone's viewing displeasure. I'm sure there are more people out there that say things like this, but this enrages me to no end. Not liking his work is one thing. You are entitled to an opinion and if you don't care for Steven Moffat's writing, that's fine. Everyone has preferences. There's no shame in that.
But the instant you say that the punishment for writing something you don't care for is death, your opinion has lost all value to me. To wish death upon someone in this fashion is bullying in it's purest form. Even if you meant it jokingly, suicide or burning to death, as I think we'll all agree, are not things that will ever be funny. And those that say things like this, even in supposed jest, need to check themselves and really think about what they're saying - especially on the internet.
He is a human being, just like you and I, and he is flawed, but no one deserves to be told that he should be dead for having written something like a Doctor Who episode.
And before someone complains that I could have just reblogged the posts from each person, I didn't want to contribute to their activity on this website.
Things like this need to stop.
