he knows what it’s like to lose a parent as he lost his mother when he was little as well, the mutual feeling brings Akashi and his s\o together to give each other all the love they’re missing from their families

Akashi having a big dork and clumsy s\o [headcanons]
- he can’t help but laugh at her randomness
- when it was time to introduce her to his dad and she was were really REALLY nervous she kept tripping over things, accidentally broke her glass of juice during dinner and ended up saying a bunch of weird things but Akashi handled it and it went pretty well !
- Akashi and his s\o play basketball together often, his s\o shoots, the ball rebounds and hits her straight in the face (omg lol) , Akashi stops everything and helps her.
- when they’re walking together and her shoelaces are untied, Akashi ties them up for her because he knows if she bends down she’s probably gonna lose her balance and fall.
- at some point she almost fell off a huge staircase but Akashi caught her quickly
- Akashi : I see you bought that vase you liked the other day !
s\o : yep! just look at ! it’s awesome !! *shoves it up in his face*
Akashi : it’s really beautiful, you should put it on a table before it breaks.
s\o : what are you talking about ? it’s not gonna- *vase slips from hands and breaks*
