To cleanse himself of his sins, Jeong Jeong wanders into the lake, led hand in hand by those he had cared for, yet failed. As he drifts deeper into the depths of the lake, he allows the water to take his breath away. His life and loved ones flashing before his very eyes.
Unbeknownst to him, something awaits for him at the bottom. The shadows become agitated to the presence of something new, something bereaved, guilty, & trapped coming its way. It reaches up, like a mother’s embrace. Waiting to welcome its prey.
Like a fish to a lure, Jeong Jeong drifts into the maw of something vast & starving.
