Looks like that camping trip isn’t going so well…
What are your predictions for the rest of ATLA Book 3, now that you finished episode 306 (I think)? Where do you see the plot or characters going?
In the final battle, there's a moment when everything feels lost, then suddenly...
GRAN GRAN, JEONG JEONG, BUMI, PIANDAO, PAKKU AND HAMA ARRIVE AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF OZAI AND HIS FIRE NATION CRONIES (while Lo and Li bring Azula to her senses, deposit her with the other kids, and then join the seniors-beating-up-ozai team)
the gaang can only look on in fear and awe.
ok, i'm sorry. you were probably expecting a serious answer but i... honestly can't tell. i wanna wait and see what zuko does now, after sending combustion man after them. i haven't actually finished the ep with Hama (i just know she's SWT), so idk what her role in the story will be, exactly. i expect we'll see more of what happened to katara and sokka's mum, and get some closure in that regard. aang will try to extend a hand of compassion to azula, i'm not sure about ozai. also, whatever happens, i hope mai and ty lee stick by azula always
thanks for the ask 😅

( A FLASH WARNING ⚠️)
ATLA - During their travels, Iroh & the White Lotus come across something both inhuman and nonspirit.
I'm in my ATLA feels again thinking about the bittersweetness of Bumi and Aang
Imagine being Bumi - you're a king, you're 112 years old, you've seen war and matured and you never forgot your friend but you have grown up and grown old. And miraculously here is your childhood friend, alive and in front of you again - but he is still a child. You knew he had a destiny when you were kids, but it weighs differently as a member of the White Lotus than on kids messing around. You cannot be his friend the same way that you once were. That doesn't mean you can't do your best to help him, but it will never be the same.
But imagine being Aang - you have lost everything. You have woken up in a world where everything is different and nothing makes sense. Everyone you love is gone, and there is nobody left who knows you as more than the Avatar. And then miraculously there's Bumi. And he still loves pranks and sliding on the mail system and making you think outside the box, but he grew up without you. He can still be your friend, can still give you advice and help you, but it will never be the same.
Is it better to have found this one connection to your past? Or is it worse, somehow, to be so close and yet so far from what you remember? How do you reconcile that pain? How do you even have time to consider it, in the middle of a war?
Time will always keep going forward, no matter how hard you try to stop it.
ATLA On Cactus Juice
I did the Gaang, so now here's how I think some of the adults from Avatar would react to cactus juice
who should i add to the giant group pic?
the silly little cats have gotten out of hand, i love them so much
